2012 Barossa Valley Shiraz – Coming Soon
Australia’s iconic Barossa Valley expressed its exceptional heritage and terroir in this sophisticated single vineyard Shiraz. The 2012 is an artisan wine made from naturally fermented, older vines and matured in French oak. It is led by a rich scent of spice-soaked berries and plums, with barrel involvement offering extra nuance that linger on in plush, ripe fruit flavours. Subtle and supple, its complexity is beautifully balanced with a fine and lengthy finish. This lovely Shiraz drinks well now, welcoming further cellaring from vintage.

How To Enjoy
Recommended Glassware:
Broad-bowl, wide-mouthed – oxidation (aerating or ‘opening up’ the wine) is desirable to encourage the complex flavours to be truly expressed.
Food Pairing:
Enjoy at room temperature and pair with charcuterie (cured meats), grilled and roasted lean meats (lamb, beef and game), stews, casseroles and braises, and firm, aged cheeses (like cheddar, parmesan and pecorino) and dark chocolate – but not with creamy foods.
