Spicy Peanuts

Spicy peanuts are one of those snacks that is often associated with pubs and beer. You would not be the only one that may consider spicy peanuts as just another bar snack. Let us tempt you into a new way of thinking… a place were spicy peanuts are nurturing and nourishing. A place where the addition of spices is used to help balance blood sugar levels, support concentration and give a little boost to the metabolism. Our spicy peanuts are the perfect topping to roasted veggies and poached eggs or a garden salad for additional good fats and more yummy morsels. You are only limited by your imagination.

Ingredients:

  • 500g peanuts, raw

  • 2 tablespoons each:

    • curry powder

    • mustard powder

    • raw cacao

    • cinnamon

    • turmeric

    • maca

  • Living Pure Olive Oil

  • Living Pure Manuka Active

Method:

  • Line a baking tray with baking paper. Set aside.

  • Over a medium heat, add all spices to a dry pan.

  • Mix to combine, lightly toast the spices to release the aromatics.

  • Once the spice aromas start to release, add the Living Pure Olive Oil. Stir well.

  • Add peanuts to spices on stove. Stir well to combine.

  • Turn heat down to low. Continue to stir for a few minutes.

  • Remove from heat. Stir through Living Pure Manuka Active. Mix to combine.

  • Pour spicy nuts on baking tray. Allow to cool.

  • Eat and Enjoy
